Schools: NCMP subversion - capital cases

In NCMP and in budget UPA has claimed commitment to teach the poor, which Delhi government has matched with media hype about its charade about court orders for free seats. While government and private schools negotiate what to do about the poor they forgot to teach, in a place where citizens from all sections have been engaging since 2000 on equal access schooling as per DMP, tomorrow (29.07.04) poor students face banishment to Bawana where there are no private schools and children, in any case, are dying. And late evening yesterday (27.07.04) a school that taught the likes of them was demolished without notice. A glimpse of the truth about teaching the poor, truth in shape of bulldozer.
